Donate Your Used Eyeglasses

VOSH-MN volunteers collect, clean, measure and sort used eyeglasses. These glasses are transported by volunteers to foreign countries where, after an eye exam to determine eyeglass prescription, the glasses are distributed to patients. Often, this is the first time these individuals have had access to an eye exam and purchasing eyeglasses is not possible for them. Your donated eyeglasses allow us to give these individuals clear vision, usually for the first time in their lives. The gift of your glasses can allow a student to succeed in school, a mother to see details to mend clothing or a father to continue to work and provide for his framing. On average, each mission requires 5,000 eyeglasses. We rely on your eyeglass donations to provide enough glasses for each mission.

In addition, glasses are also accepted at the VOSH-MN booth during the fall and winter Minnesota Optometric Association Meetings.
